**Think BIG and move fast at Southwestern Energy.** **Southwestern Energy is searching for a Driller to join our EP Services Division.** The Driller operates and repairs drilling equipment and provides guidance to work crews. Provides guidance and training for work crew personnel regarding rigging up and rigging down, day-to-day operations and company policies and procedures. Leads operations to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and established procedures by his assigned rig crew. **The Driller #12379 will report to the Rig Operations Superintendent and will be located at our Gloster, Louisiana facility.** **To be successful in this role you will have experience in:** + Providing guidance and training for work crew personnel regarding rigging up and rigging down, day-to-day operations and company policies and procedures. + Operates rig hoisting system from control panel; raises and lowers drilling tubulars using hoisting system. + Accountable for the direct supervision of three to five employees including the Assistant Driller, Derrickhand, Roughnecks, Motorman, and the indirect supervision of five to eight additional personnel. + A Driller will communicate and assist the Rig Manager in improving HSE, production and controlling daily costs based on the operational budget goal. **The Driller will also:** + Work is normally performed out-of-doors, where exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, fumes, and gases are frequent. Exposure to noise, vibration, high pressure, moving/mechanical parts, electrical shock, chemical and caustic materials is common in the normal performance of the duties associated with this position. + The work of this position requires manual dexterity to operate drilling tools. + The work of this position involves the frequent movement of up to 100 lbs. to lift, push, pull or carry equipment and to control brake handle. + Reaching, climbing, and balancing is required to climb flights of stairs, vertical ladders up to 140 feet high and reach and handle equipment. + Vision and depth perception skills are required to supervise and monitor equipment and conditions on rig. **Your Background includes:** + High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred + Three (3) to five (5) years prior experience in procedures associated with drilling a well. + Minimum training requirements: Health, Safety and Environment Orientation and Rig Specific Start Up Training, Well Control Certification, Supervisor Level, Drilling Only, and Horizontal and Extended Reach Drilling (HERDIT) + Will be required to pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical demands and drug-screening test along with a thorough background and motor vehicle record check **We are energy** .
